About Columbia Winds

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.

Columbia Winds Pony Club is located in Portland, Oregon. Our members come from Portland, Beaverton, St Helens,  and Hillsboro areas.  Our membership is made up of both youth members (pony clubbers) and adult members (horsemasters) who share a love of horses and enjoy socializing with like-minded individuals.  Our parents and volunteers are what make the logistics of our Pony Club work.  Through their dedication of time and effort, the members go to lessons, horse management events, and rallies.  If you are a parent, youth, or adult rider looking for a great way to further your equestrian education, please contact us for more information.  We welcome new members at any time of year, and you are always welcome to attend a lesson to see if our pony club is right for you.

USPC Pony Clubs and Riding Centers are assigned to one of 42 geographical regions, which are administered by a volunteer Regional Supervisor (RS) and other appointed and elected officers. Regions offer additional activities and opportunities for members and support for the club and center leaders under their administration. Columbia Winds Pony Club is part of the Oregon Region. Visit the region's website for the contact information for the Regional Officers.

Visit the Pony Club website to learn more about the Pony Club educational program, national events, activities and opportunities for members.
